Christmas Market in Palma's Nuevo Pueblo Español

Nuevo Pueblo Español Christmas Market

Once again, just like every year, inside the walls of Palma’s Nuevo Pueblo Español the annual Christmas market takes place between the 1st until the 10th of December. Cinnamon, mulled wine, vanilla, Christmas carols and cannons shooting artificial snow create the perfect atmosphere to bring everyone together and into the holiday spirit.

The Spanish Village (Pueblo Español) replicates a medieval walled city and it was built in the sixties by a Spanish architect whose work include the Almudena Cathedral in Madrid and the extension of the Museo del Prado. Spain’s rich architecture through the history can be enjoyed in this 24.000 square meter museum which boasts monuments streets, buildings and squares from different styles such as Arabic, gothic, baroque and renaissance.
